Merry Christmas Everybody!

Also, a big thank you to all of our amazing students and staff for a wonderful year! Our annual Christmas party was a blast with students and staff coming from 9 different countries and delicious homemade dishes from Brazil, Italy, Japan, the Czech Republic, Canada, Korea, Spain, the UK and Germany.  The Caipirinha (Brazilian traditional drink) was a big hit with everyone. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

Warmest wishes this holiday season from the staff and teachers at Advantage EJ School.

BBQ Season is here!

Sunday, August 21st, 2011

Summer has been cool and now that warm weather has finally made an appearance, we are taking full advantage of this beautiful weather. One of our favorite events out of the year is the annual food, fun and friends-themed barbeque. It is a way for us to thank our students, staff and friends that we are so grateful for and who we cannot do without. We hope that everyone had a blast singing and socializing well into the night. Party on!

Summer in Whistler

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

After weeks of cold weather in June and July, summer is finally here!

Today, a team of Advantage EJ students and teachers set out towards Pemberton, BC for an action-packed day complete with hiking, sightseeing, an international-style picnic and strawberry picking.

The team explored Nairn Falls, a popular hiking area and camping destination just 25 mins. from Whistler and finished the day with satisfied stomachs, full of delicious cuisine from the picnic and strawberries from Pemberton’s NorthArm Farm. A truly remarkable day!

Canadian-style après with AEJ students

Wednesday, January 19th, 2011

After a busy day of studying English in the classroom and skiing/riding on Whistler or Blackcomb mountains, the students went out to Crystal Lounge for a well-deserved break and were treated to unlimited quantities of chicken wings and beer in true Canadian fashion.

Cheers Everyone!
