Fun Day with Teacher!

It sure goes by quickly! We are now in April and the ski season is coming to an end. Friday was the perfect time to go for a ski with teacher Pat. Nothing is better than practicing your English skills while you are having a blast skiing and snowboarding! Another awesome day to add to the list for Advantage English School students!

Some students are taking CASI snowboard instructor level 1 or CSIA Ski instructor level 1 while they are studying English. With a little help from our teachers and CASI/CSIA instructors Nora and Yuuki have passed their level 1! Congrats you guys, you did a wonderful job! We are so proud of you!

Cross Country Skiing!

We have just passed the middle of Winter, and we recently had a fun opportunity to try  Cross Country Skiing at the Olympic Park. This was the last day of the season, so admission was only $7.-/person ♪ On a yearly basis, we have students who have never tried cross country skiing before giving it a try for the first time, and enjoy the experience. They were able to get the hang of it with the wonderful support from their teachers and fellow students. Making Special memories from Whistler!

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

Advantage English School’s Annual Pot Luck Party was a blast yet again ♪ This year there were familiar faces from previous years mixed with new students and a whole lotta next generation Whistler Kids! An assortment of jolly faces joined together to celebrate a wondrous end to 2018. Although there was a late start to the ski season, we are now getting dumped on! Another snow storm last night just in time for a White Christmas. May 2019 is sure to be a wonderful year for everyone ~! Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

Time for a study break and a little adventure outside of Whistler, in Pemberton, BC. Just a short hike to Nairn Falls and North Arm Farm for blueberries and raspberries.
